On the morning of September 8, in Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province, the Institute of Innovation Policy and Interdisciplinary Science (University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) in collaboration with Hoa Lu University organized a seminar on “Green skills for young people in the context of socio-ecological transition”. The activity is within the framework of SETY Summer Camp 2025.

Attending the seminar were experts, scientists , students from Hoa Lu University and a number of universities across the country.In his opening remarks, the Organizing Committee of the seminar emphasized: In recent years, along with implementing the green growth target, achieving net emissions of “0” by 2050, Vietnam is also focusing on training and developing “green human resources”. In particular, the young generation is a human resource that actively contributes to the implementation of sustainable development goals and coping with the challenges of climate change and environmental pollution.At the seminar, experts and scientists focused on presenting major issues such as: ecological - social transformation and sustainable development from a theoretical approach; international experience in green tourism development; issues raised for Ninh Binh.Delegates said that Ninh Binh province, with the advantage of being the land owning the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - World Cultural and Natural Heritage, needs to pay more attention to building a green tourism development strategy. To do so, young human resources, especially students, need to improve their skills, sense of responsibility and creativity in environmental protection practices, from small daily actions to participating in community initiatives.

Many opinions at the seminar also suggested solutions such as: integrating green skills education into the curriculum, expanding practical experience activities at heritage conservation areas; encouraging students to conduct scientific research associated with green economic and circular economic models.SETY 2025 Summer Camp is a playground that helps young people have the opportunity to explore knowledge, exchange ideas and connect with people who share a passion for science, the environment and sustainable development.

SETY 2025 Summer Camp takes place from September 8-13, 2025, students will participate in discussions on many topics, learn about reality at tourist destinations along with many meaningful workshops and practice activities. Through the summer camp, it contributes to raising awareness, arousing the sense of responsibility and aspiration of the young generation to contribute to the cause of sustainable development of the country.
